Pastor Ricardo was raised in Puerto Rico and brings more than 40 years of diverse ministry experience to Olivet. Throughout his vocational journey, he has served as a pastor, schoolteacher, college and seminary professor, missionary, and mentor. After completing his degree at Drew University, he ministered in both urban and rural communities across New Jersey and later served as a missionary in South America. His heart for social outreach and his commitment to putting faith into action continue to shape his leadership and ministry today.
Outside of church life, Pastor Ricardo enjoys fishing, cooking, listening to all types of music, and spending time walking his three dogs. He and his wife, Laurie, were married just a few years ago. Laurie is a research librarian at Villanova University, and together they share a deep love of learning, service, and community.
